Day 1: TaipeiCity Sightseeing (B / X / D) To be greeted by English speaking guide and transferred to Taipei by air-conditioned coach. Visit Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and see local people play Tai Chi boxing here. You can also try foot massage path like local people. Visit Traditional breakfast shop. You can taste local breakfast (soy bean milk, sesame seed cake with fried bread stick) on your own. AfternoonTaipeiCity Tour to visit Taipei 101 Observatory, LungshanTemple and NationalPalaceMuseum.
You will have dumpling meals for dinner tonight in Taipei.
Day 2: Taipei / Sanyi / SunMoonLake (B / X / D) Enjoy breakfast at hotel, and we will proceed to visit the town of woodcarving and keep going visit SunMoonLake in central Taiwan. You will enjoy the motor boat cruise at the lake to visit HsuanKuangTemple. The remainder of the day, you can rent a bike on your own for sycling around the lake (bike hire included) or take cable car to overview SunMoonLake on your own.
Day 3: SunMoonLake / Chiayi / Alishan National Scenic Area (B / X / D) VisitWen-WuTemple. Proceed to Chiayi and then Alishan by car. You will see the view of forest from Tropical, Subtropical and Temperate Zones. Have soft trekking tour under thousand year old giant trees at Alishan.
Day 4: Alishan / Tainan (B / X / D)
Wakeup very early in the morning today if you like to join the tour to see sunrise at Chu-Shan. After breakfast, proceed to Tainan to visit FortProvintia, MatsuTemple, FortZeelandia and KuanKungTemple. Overnight at Zenda Suites (inside University campus) and have dinner with university students or local people.
Day 5: Tainan / Kaohsiung/ Foguangshan Monastery (B / X / D) In the morning, city walk through the historical center of the city.
Visit Kaohsiung city. To be transferred to the Foguangshan Buddhist Monastery in Kaohsiung in the afternoon. A walking tour of the Monastery upon arrival. You will experience the Buddhist vegetarian dinner at the Monastery.
Day 6: Foguangshan / Lung-Tien / Chihpen, Taitung (B / X / D) After breakfast, take the South Cross-Island Highway to East Taiwan. Visit Lung-Tein, a historical Japanese village surrounded by mountains and rice-fields. You can see the beautiful view of East Rift Valley and enjoy cycling among the fields at Lung-Tien village (bike hire included). Cycling is optional activity.
Day 7: Chihpen, Taitung / Hualien (B / X / D) Proceed to aboriginal village in Hualien (about 3 hours driving distance from Chihpen) via East Rift Valley. Aborigine tour guide will show you around this village and aboriginal eco-fishing. Head to Hualien city centre. Stay overnight at aboriginal village in Hualien.

Day 8: Hualien (B / X / D) Have river trekking in the afternoon (about 2-3hours). You will have the chance to stand under waterfall and adventure nature Taiwan with scream. Free on your own in the afternoon.

Day 9: Hualien / Taroko Gorge (B / L / D) Proceed to TarokoNational Park to Eternal Spring Shrine, walk through the tunnels of Swallow Grotto and Tunnel of Nine Turns. Have soft trekking tour in TarokoNational Park. Have aboriginal cuisine for dinner. Overnight inside TarokoNational Park.
Day 10: Taroko Gorge / Yilan (B / L / D) Proceed to Yilan along the Su-Hua Highway with stop at the scenic Ching Shui Cliffs. Arrive Yilan tea farm. Wear farmer hat and learn picking tea leaves in tea farm (Apr-Nov only). Fry and dry tea leaves. Learn how to make tea and how to have a cup of good tea. Bring back a small pack of your own made tea to home. Overnight at Yilan Guest House.
Hotel: Country Grange Guest House or similar
Day 11: Yilan / Taipei (B / L / D) Visit Chiufen and Jin-gua-shi, historical gold mining village. Experience gold panning. Have lunch in tea house. Proceed to Taipei. Visit handicraft center in Taipei. Take a break in hotel.
Visit night market in the evening. Overnight at Taipei.
Day 12: Taipei (B / X / D) Visit Sanshia old street and Yingko village (pottery village). Take a shower and break before farewell dinner at day-use hotel or motel. Have farewell dinner. Head to airport for departure.
