Day 1 (Mon): TaipeiCity Sightseeing - Taipei Night Tour –Taipei 101 (B/D)
After breakfast, at approximately 8:00am, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby to visit TaipeiCity's must see places. Sightseeing for today are: Presidential Building (Pass by), Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and NationalPalaceMuseum (has the world's largest Chinese art and painting collection), Martyrs' Shrine,ChineseTemple, then the Taiwanese Handicraft Centre.Then you will be transferred back to you hotel to refresh & Check In at the luxury 5 star hotel. In the afternoon you are free to explore many parts of Taipei by taking the convenient MRT. In the evening about 6:30PM, your friendly tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to take you out to explore the night life of Taipei. Firstly, you will have Dinner at the Taiwanese dinner locally, then visit the oldest temple in Taiwan "Longshan Temple", and then off to the most colourful night market in Taiwan "Hwahsi Night Market"(aka Snake Valley). Finally you will be taken to see the world's 2nd tallest building in the world "Taipei 101".
Day 2 (Tue): Taipei – Nantou - Puli -SunMoonLake (B)
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Taipei hotel lobby; we will drive to Nantou. Its mountainous area makes it a tourist destination; SunMoonLake is located in this county. SunMoonLake is situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. Tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple or Literature Warrior Temple dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, Holy Monk Shrine and Puli. Day 3 (Wed): SunMoonLake -Alishan National Scenic Area --ChiayiCity (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Alishan. Alishan ('AliMountain' in Chinese) is renowned for its alpine forests, ethnic minority culture, people and the famous Alishan Forest Railway. It is located in the northeastern part of ChiayiCounty and is renown for its alpine forests, ethnic minority culture, people and the famous Alishan Forest Railway. The scenic area covers four ChiayiCounty townships including Alishan, Meishan, Zhuqi, and Fanlu, occupying an area of 32,700 hectares. Alishan has abundant natural resources and culture led to its recognition by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications(MOTC) in March of 2001 as a national scenic area, with the Tourism Bureau, establishing an Alishan National Scenic Area Administration responsible for overseeing the tourism development of the area.
Proceed to LUKANG, located about 180 kilometers south of Taipei, is known as a center of arts and handicrafts, particularly wooden and bamboo items. In earlier years, the city was the site of magnificent homes and temples of uniquely Taiwanese architecture. Some of these structures still exist today.Lukang is situated on the west-central coast of Taiwan, at the edge of the coastal plain. Although once a harbor, severe silting of the sea and the LukangRiver have left it some distance form the shore. The climate is temperate to tropical; summers are hot with occasional thunderstorms, the spring and fall have moderate temperatures, and winters are cool.northeasterly monsoons blow in large amounts of sand and dust, forming what is known locally as the "September winds".
After breakfast, you will depart for TarokoNational Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful area of Taiwan. It is the 'Seven Wonder of Asia", its narrow raving created by the Liwu River which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Stops will be made at Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, MarbleBridge, Tienshiang and Marble Factory. We will then drive back to Taipei via Su-Hua Highway and Hsuei-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 kilometers) to arrive Taipei at around 7PM. Hotel: Gala Hotel, Taipei (4ê)
Day 6 (Sat): Taipei (B)
Option 1:After breakfast, Free Time. You may shopping in Taipei or enjoy hot spring in Beitou.
Option 2:After breakfast, your own arrangement to Taipei International Airport, extent to Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore for FREE (with our China Airlines airfares) or other destination with a small addition of fare to Japan, USA, Europe.
Option 3:Afterbreakfast, you may stay in Taipei for extra nights on your own arrangement.
