6 Days Snow Mountain (Hsueshan) Climbing Tour - $1695

Day 1: Departure from Australia
Depart flight from Sydney, Australia with China Airlines CI52 22:10 to Taiwan.

Day 2 (Sat, Sun, Mon): Taipei International Airport / Taipei City Tour (X / X / X)
After your arrival to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, you will be picked up by your tour guide and driven to a Taipei City Hotel for check-in. After taking a rest, enjoy Taipei City Tour. The guide will show you Taiwanese Presidential Palace (drive-by only), Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall (Also known as Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall), a typical Taiwanese temple and the highest building in the world, Taipei 101 (the observation platform entrance ticket at one's own cost). Finally return to your hotel for the night's rest.

Day 3 (Sun, Mon, Tue): Hsueshan Tunnel / Shei-Pa National Park /  Wuling Farm / Snow Mountain (B/ X/ D)
After your hotel breakfast, check-out and board our bus, departure from Taipei, drive through Hsueshan tunnel (the fifth longest road tunnel in the world) to the East Coast of Taiwan, then forward to Shei-Pa National Park and Wuling Farm. After a short rest in the farm area, continue to the Snow Mountain trailhead and walk 2 km to the Chika Hut.
Hotel: Chika hut (dormitory style, all clients in one room)

Day 4 (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu): Snow Mountain East Peak Climb / 369 Hut (B/ L/ D)
In the early morning you can take an optional tour (at one’s own cost) and ride a World Heritage category mountain train to enjoy a view of Alishan sunrise. After a breakfast, ride to Tatachia parking lot and start the Yushan climb. Take a van to the Yushan trailhead and climb 8.5 km (around 4-5 hours) to the Paiyun hut. If the weather and time permits, it is possible to climb Yushan West Peak in the afternoon (around 4.4 km, 2-3 hours both ways).
Hotel: 369 hut (dormitory style, all clients in one room).

Day 5 (Tue, Wed, Thu): Snow Mountain Main Peak Climb / SPA (B / L / D) 
In the morning climb the remaining 3.8 km to the Snow Mountain Main Peak (3886 m). Then return to the 369 hut and after a rest descend back to the trailhead. Board your bus for the short ride back to Wuling Farm, check-in the hotel and enjoy the hot bath in the hotel SPA.
Hotel: Hoya Hotel, Wuling Farm (4 Stars)

Day 6 (Wed, Thu, Fri): Chiaohsi Hot Springs (B / X / X) 
After the breakfast drive towards Chiaohsi Hot Springs to relax in the hot bath. In the afternoon return to Taipei.

Day 7 (Thu, Fri, Sat): National Palace Museum / Martyrs' Shrine / Handicraft Center (B / X / X)
In the morning visit the National Palace Museum with its five thousand years old collection of Chinese antiquities that was brought to Taiwan from China after the second world war. Then see a magnificent building of Martyrs’ Shrine with its impressive changing of the guards. Finish your trip to Taiwan in a Handicraft Center to buy souvenirs and gifts for your friends. Transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home.
