Day 1: (Fri) Seoul - Buyeo - Jeonju - Gwangju 

Meet your tour guide at parking lot in front of Donghwa Duty Free Shopping Building, at Gwanghwamun Intersection, Seoul at 8:00AM. Depart Seoul to Gongju (130km/1.5hours). Visit The Tomb of King Muryeong -> Gongsanseong Fortress -> Buyeo (an hour and a half), an ancient capital of the Baekje Dynasty. Visit Baekje Cultural Land where you will see a palace, castle, cultural hall, etc. ->Visit Goransa Temple and Nakhwaam bluff by boat (optional $12pp) where 3,000 court ladies of Baekjae plunged into the river to avoid being captured and dishonored when enemy breached the castle on the last day of the Kingdom-> Proceed to Jeonju (80Km/1 hr) to visit Jeonju Hanok Village including about 700 traditional Korean houses called Hanok. / Transfer to Gwangju (100km / 1hr 20min), the leading city of Honam region and birthplace of a modern democratic movement in Korea. -> Check-into your hotel and have leisure time.

Day 2: (Sat) Gwangju - Suncheon - Yeosu (B)

Breakfast at  hotel / Gwangju, a Hub City of Asian Culture, Visit Gwangju city Musuem - Move to Bosung Green Tea-plantation - Suncheon (100km/ 1hr) where you will visi Suncheon Bay Park / Move to Yeosu, a port city and look around the Historic Site of Admiral Yi Sun-sin's Path. 
Hotel: Yeosu U Castle Hotel or similar

Day 3: (Sun) Yeosu - Busan - Jeju (B)

Breakfast at hotel / Jinsuseong Castle – Chokseoknu edifice historically linked to Japanese invasion in 1592.

Move to Gimhae airport to fly from Gimhae airport to Jeju airport. (14:00~15:00)

Arrive at Jeju and met by Guide. Jeju-do's volcanic island and lava tubes have been registered as UNESCO’s world natural heritage. Jeju-do(island) is the premier tourist destination in Korea because of its stunning natural scenery and superior tourist amenities.Scenic beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony and the mild weather makes Jeju-do an even more ideal tourist site.   Transfer to hotel and take a rest. 

Jinjuseong Castle (area 1,760m2 stone castle) - a sacred ground of Jinju in which history and culture of Jinju are well integrated. Originally it had been a mud castle. But it was rebuilt with stones against frequent invasion of sea marauders in the 5th year of King Woo, Goryeo Dynasty (1379). During the Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592, the General Kim, Si-min won a victory at this castle, which was one of the three great victories in the war. And the next year (1593), in the second Jijuseong Battle, about 70,000 militia corps and government troops resisted to the last to die gloriously for their country.

Day 4: (Mon) Jeju Island (B/L)

Breakfast at your hotel, and then enjoy a full day of sightseeing. Visit Cheonjeyeon Falls (The Pond of God), Continue to the Gyulimseong tangerine farm and followed by a scenic cruise aboard the Seogwipo Pleasure Boat (optional, US$18PP). Stop for lunch at the local restaurant.  Visit Spirited Garden, recognized as the most beautiful garden in the world by the press and renowned guest from around the world who have visited since it opened on July 30.1992 . Take a walk “Olle” a narrow pathway. Complete the day with a walk along the shores of Yongmeori Beach; if closed*, visit Sangbanggulsa cave instead. Dinner on your own and transfer to hotel.

Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls named the pond of God, consists of 3 parts. Around the fall, a variety of plants thrive. To the east there is a cave where cold water pours from the ceiling to create a waterfall. The water from the first waterfall becomes the second and third waterfalls and then flow into the sea. The Legend of 7 nymphs and mountain God is very interesting.

Gyulimseong, a citrus farm and museum of 1000-odd wild plants and flowers implanted in the basalts produced by volcano.

Seogwipo Pleasure Boat, the only cruise in Korea where you can enjoy the view from both above and below the sea. Many mysterious and unexplored regions such as some islands including Seogwipo's fantastic coastal scenery are viewed from the boat.

Day 5: (Tue) Jeju - Busan (B/L)

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel and then transfer to Seopjikoji – One of the most mysterious sights in Jeju Island, in harmony with seashore made up of grotesque cliffs and dark blue ocean, where you can enjoy trekking on the Olle path.

Visit Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, World Heritage designated by UNESCO.

Next, step back in time as you explore the Seongeup Folk Village, renowned for perfectly preserving Korean traditions. This village also boasts many cultural landmarks, such as Confucian shrines and schools, millstones, and more. Have a lunch at local restaurant.

If time is available, visit the Museum of Natural History - to have an opportunity to experience and learn about the environment and shows how to preserve the earth's natural beauty. Stop by Korean Jewelry Amethyst and local product store. 

Around 17:00, transfer back to Jeju Airport and fly to Busan (Gimhae airport), the 2nd largest city in Korea. After met by tour guide, have a dinner on your own and transfer to hotel.

Day 6: (Wed) Busan - Gyeongju - Daegu (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to Gyeongju, an ancient capital of Silla Dynasty (BC57~AD935) and a museum without walls. In 57 BC, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul, it became the capital of the Shilla Dynasty and remained so for about 1000 years. Gyeongju preserves a vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritage. Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, its historical district has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Proceed to visit Gyeongju National Museum, displaying the 23-ton Emille Bell cast in AD771 and thousands of priceless treasures. Then visit Cheomgseongdae Astronomical Observatory, known as the world's oldest astronomical observatory built during Silla Dynasty. Move to Daegu city for overnight which is a largest and central city of this province. 

Bulguksa Temple, which built during the most glorious period of Silla Dynasty. The temple is one of the most frequently mentioned and the best known temple in Korea. The architectural design of the temple is one of the constrained dignity, peace and harmony and the temple still remains as one of the remarkable achievements of the ancient Far East region.

Seogulram Gotto - the home of serene stone Buddha of the eighth century, built during the glorious period of Silla Dynasty and said to be one of the finest Buddhist shrines in the world. Inside, a white serene statue of a seated Buddha in a sublime state of enlightenment is surrounded by Bodhisattva, disciples and guardians.

Day 7: (Thu) Daegu Haeinsa Temple - Andong - Mt. Seorak (B/L)

After breakfast , drive to Haeinsa Temple located in Gayasan National Park. Haeinsa Temple was founded by King Ae-Jang of Shilla Dynasty (802), well known for its famous treasure Tripitaka Koreana (UNESCO world heritage) composed of 81,341 printing woodblocks made to repulse the Mongolian Army Invasion with support of Buddha. And then transfer to Andong Hahoe Village which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Moreover, the Village was not artificially created; there are people who actually live there. The Hahoe Village has become world-famous for the visit of The Queen Elizabeth II of Britain several years ago. And then transfer to Sokcho, a port of fishing boats and commercial ships. Check in at hotel located close to Sokcho seashore.

Day 8: (Fri) Mt. Seorak - Seoul (B/L)

After breakfast, depart for Seoraksan National Park of which the peaks break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous national park. UNESCO designated this park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 due to so many rare species found here. Visit Sinheungsa-temple located in Mt.Seorak which is an ancient temple with deep historical significance, built by a great monk Jajangyulsa (590~658). (Optional Tour: Gwongeumseong Cable Car–US$15 p.p.). Gwongeumseong is a site of castle ruins located on the steep Dol Mountain of Seoraksan National Park area. After sightseeing of Seoraksan National Park, move to Seoul.Today's tour will finish at Express Terminal, Gangnam, Seoul around 18:00 pm.  Tour guide will help you arrive at your centrally located hotel.

Day 9: (Sat) Seoul (B/L)

After breakfast, pick up at your hotel around 08:30-09:00 am for Seoul half day sightseeing – Gyeongbokgung Palace(Deoksu Palace on Tue), The Royal Guard Changing Ceremony, National Folk Museum, Korean Ginseng Center. After lunch, move to Korean Folk Village (1.5 hours drive away from Seoul).

Gyeongbok Palace, a main palace during Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910), is particularly charming tourist spot representing a colorful and turbulent aspect of the Capital's 500 year-old history.

Korea National Folk Museum will help familiarize the visitors with the cultural wealth of this friendly and picturesque nation. Stop by Insa-Dong Street, a place known as the centre of traditional Korean art and antiques.

Korean Folk Village, an open-air real life museum recreating the Korean real life of several centuries agi, preserving some of the country's rich traditional and cultural heritage. It’s huge village that has about 260 different types of house of each province. You will experience the culture of the late Joseon Dynasty. A wide assortment of residential structures from the straw-thatched cottages of commoners to the 99-room mansions of the noble class has been reproduced to help illustrate the diversity of Korean lifestyle and culture. The farmer's dance and music, one of Korea's most popular forms of entertainment, is performed on daily basis.

Day 10: (Sun) Time at Leisure (B)

After breakfast, have your own time to explore exotic Seoul.  Our tour ends and individual check-out from hotel.
