"We stayed there for 4 nights and it was great overall. The rooms were not entirely sound proofed and breakfast was not great, for the price, it was a pretty good deal. The staff were also excellent in helping us recover my wife's handbag that she left accidentally in the hotel, and had it sent over to taipei within a day (everything was intact inside). This type of service is something that money cannot really buy."

"The hotel room is very nicely maintenance and decorated. Staffs are nice and helpful (as noticed Taiwanese are very nice and helpful minded). Location is right for real lake and easy to access like cable car, local market and other places. But the bathroom is old style with malfunction for the faucet in the shower room. Breakfast should be much better in terms of food quality and quantity."

"This wooded cottage is built by the shore of beautiful Sun Moon Lake. It has it own dock for the boat ride and there are resting area by the dock where you can enjoy your drinks or snacks overlooking the lake. It was so relaxing; we sat by the dock for a whole afternoon just to enjoy the tranquility of the lake.
Although the price is a little expensive (about USD210) but is definitely worth it. The smell of the wood in the room made us even more relaxed. The room is big and clean with comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and no problem with the hot water. It was a very nice touch -the word of “Welcome” was arranged by rose petals on the bed.
Just a 2 minute walk, you will see some local restaurants who served local dishes, especially the small shrimps that caught from the lake. There were also some souvenir shops on that main street. (It is a very small township; there were only 2 main streets.)"
