"This is a 5 star European style hotel situated in the business district. A cab ride or MART to shopping malls/ department stores/ night markets/ museums/ temples. Closest MART within walking distance. Probably the closest hotel to the Taipei Tangshan (domestic) Airport.
Even in a typhoon, the staff were over the top helpful to ensure my stay was comfortable and put me at ease. The rooms were recently refurnished and very pleasant - the bed extra soft and the bathroom big with a separate shower.
The gym/pool was under Reno's for a few days so it should look great now!
Can't fault the breakfast. Western to Japanese to Chinese. If you can't find something nice to eat here at breakfast, you aren't really trying!
The difference with this hotel is the staff. Happy, warm, friendly, helpful, English speaking. What's not to like?
