Day 1 North Link Line: Taipei – Hualien (Taroko National Park)

Entrain from Taipei to Hualien. Enbus to Taroko Gorge Gateway, visiting the famous sites, including Swallow Grotto, Tienhsiang (Siangde Temple), Tunnel of Nine Turns, Eternal Spring Shrine, Chi Shing Beach.

Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful area of Taiwan. It is the 'Seven Wonder of Asia", its narrow raving created by the Liwu River which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Stops will be made at External Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Chi Shing Beach. Tour will stay overnight at Hualien.

Day 2 Hualien Taitung Line: Hualien – Taitung (East Rift Valley)  (B)

Entrain from Hualien to Taitung. Enbus to Bunun Tribe Cultural Park, visiting Luyeh Stage Tourist Tea Garden, Longtien Bicycle Riding and Beinan Cutural Park.

The East Rift Valley National Scenic Area lies between the Central Range and the Coastal Range between the Mugua River in the north and Taitung City in the south. The scenic area covers a total of 15 townships and 138,368 hectares.

Bunun Tribe Cultural Park Located in the Taoyuan Village and established by the Bunun Cultural and Educational Foundation, the Bunun Tribe Cultural Park has a collection of more than a hundred pieces of art works placed all around. It is aimed to develop industries and to preserve the culture. Resting on a high place, endless mountain scene can be seen from the garden.

Beinan Cultural Park is situated at the northern edge of Nanwang Village of Beinan Township in Taitung County. This is the site of the largest and most complete prehistoric settlement that has been discovered in Taiwan so far; in its heyday, the settlement may have covered an area of more than 300,000 square meters.

Day 3 South Link Line: Chihben – Kaohsiung (Kaohsiung Sea & Mountain) (B)

Entrain from Chihben to Kaohsiung. Enbus to city landmark tour, visiting Gushan Ferry Terminal, Cijin Island pedicab ride (Cihou Lighthouse, Cihou Fortification, Star Tunnel, and Tianhou Temple), Gushan Ferry Terminal (British Consulate at Takao), Sunset view at Sizihwan, Liouhe Night Market, Love River and 85 Sky Tower.

We will drive to Kaohsiung City, which is the second largest city in Taiwan. The tour will take you to Love River and Lio Ho Night Market. Overnight at Kaohsiung's Garden Villa, this 5 star hotel was the accommodation for Dalai Lama during his visit in Taiwan in 2009.

Day 4 Taiwan High Speed Rail: Kaohsiung – Taichung (Sun Moon Lake) (B)

Entrain from Kaohsiung to Taichung. Enbus to Wun Wu Temple, boating around Sun Moon Lake, afternoon tea in Fleur de Chine and take a stroll by the lake and Puli Brewery.

We will drive to Sun Moon Lake which is located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. Tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple or Literature Warrior Temple dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, Holy Monk Shrine and peacock garden. After touring around the Sun Moon Lake, proceed to hotel for check in, stay overnight at Sun Moon Lake.

Day 5 Taiwan High Speed Rail: Taichung – Taipei (Sun Moon Lake) (B)

Enbus to Rich Year Farm and Zhu Lu Market, Thao Aboriginal Culture Village, Sun Moon Lake cable car, stroll by the lake, visit Hugo Assam Tea Farm and entrain from Taichung back to Taipei.

The Rich Year Farm is a fungi specialty farm, producing a series of food and
medicine fungi species for the domestic and international farms, as well as a high quantity of rare fungi, such as Linzhi (Ganoderma lucidum), Monkey Head Mushroom (Hedgehog Hydnum), and Brazilian mushroom (Ultra Agaricus Blazei Murrill).
