"If you are on a layover or need to do business in Taoyuan, then this is probably the place to stay. This is something along the lines of a big Four Points in the States. Not bad, considering the price and the generous size of the rooms. Bathrooms are nice, with separate tubs and showers. Free in-room Internet, adequate amenities, varied breakfast buffet and friendly service make this place above average. Long-staying guests will appreciate the laundry room. Rooms, however, are looking a bit worn (spots in carpets, scratched furniture, etc.).
The hotel is located within short walking distance to the Taoyuan train station, major department stores and restaurants, the tax office and bus lines to Taipei and other places around the island. The neighborhood on the way to the stores, however, is a bit seedy and dirty--it is an unpleasant, but thankfully very short walk."
