"The hotel was "average" although we have no complaints about the room...We went to the local visitors centre in Taitung and the people there had no idea where the hotel was located. It is also no longer known as the Toong Shing Hotel and this did not help when seeking directions. It took us over 2 hours to finally find the hotel. The staff were helpful enough but the area was not our scene."
