Day 1 (Wednesday) Sydney - Incheon - Seoul

Depart Sydney early morning on Korea Air KE122.

Arrive at Incheon International Airport in the evening. Upon arrival transfer to Best Western Airport Hotel, 5 minutes away from the airport by free hotel shuttle bus, without guide assist. (Ground Floor - Gate B: shuttle bus written "Best Western Airport Hotel)

Day 2 (Thusday) Seoul - Jeju Island (B/L)

Check-out hotel and transfer to Gimpo Domestic airport by KAL Limousine Express bus at your own expense for KE 1215 departing 10:20 & arriving Jeju Domestic Airport at 11:25.(or Transfer by taxi to Gimpo Domestic airport, about 30 minutes  & roughly AU$60). Upon arrival at Jeju airport, you will be met and greeted by our English speaking guide at the arrival area of the airport.
* Jeju-do"s volcanic island and lava tubes have been registered as UNESCO"s world natural heritage. Jeju-do (island) is the premier tourist destination in Korea because of its stunning natural scenery and superior tourist amenities. * Scenic beaches,waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony and the mild weather makes Jeju-do an even more ideal tourist site.  
Then will move to Jeju Folklore & Natural History Museum with recreation of a traditional thatched house in the local style, local crafts, and folklore, flora, insect and marine displays. Take a visit for Yongduam Rock – a volcanic rock created from eruption two millions years ago, 10m high and 30m long, named after its shape of dragon (Yong) head. Or enjoy Pony Show (Optional tour: $13). Check in hotel and take a rest.

Day 3 (Friday) Jeju Island (B/L)

Transfer to Jusangjeolli (pillar-shaped joint) Rocks at Daepo coast – the spectacular 2 km stretch of coastline with hexagonal rock columns, bizarre formations resulted from rapid cooling and contraction of lava.
And then, Yongmeori (dragon head) coastline – an Oceanside promenade of soaring, weather-blown cliffs. Some are quite drastic and beautiful.  Note that Yongmeori closes during very high seas. In this case, you will see Sangbanggulsa, a natural cave overlooking the ocean. The views are fantastic. Spirited Garden Bunjae Artpia - the world’s largest botanical garden, which is rich with trees as old as 300 years and as young as 30 years including an assortment of maple trees, wisterias, pine trees and about 100 types of rare trees. It also boasts of its 10,000 Jeju wild flowers, orchids and other various garden trees and plants forming unique scenic harmony. 

Then visit Gyulimseong (Jeju’s indigenous tangerine farm with many special products) and Cruise (Optional Tour: $17): Enjoy the breathtaking scenery both on and under the sea, viewing the mysterious and unexplored regions such as islets and falls. 

Proceed to Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls – named ‘The pond of God’, consists of 3 parts, rare plants, a cave in the east and waterfall. The water from the first waterfall becomes the second and the third waterfall and flows into the sea. Yakchunsa - the largest temple in Asia with an 18 ton bell, a well known place where not only Buddhists but also tourists pray for their wishes to come true. Check in at hotel and take a rest.

Day 4 (Saturday) Jeju - Busan - Ulsan (B/L) 

Check-out of the Hotel and then move to the Mysterious Road (Tokkaebi road) – a road on which your vehicle will roll uphill if with the engine turned off and shift to neutral. Transfer to look around Amethyst Factory and shopping center. Then visit Manjanggul -Cave - one of the finest lava tunnels in the world, designated natural monument, formed when the lava in the deep ground spouted and flowed to the surface, with a variety of interesting structures inside. Seobjikoji (coastline view) – located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju Island green fields without a single tree spread beyond the cliff and rocks. There are stonewalls along the road to block the wind on the way to the lighthouse at the end of Seobjikoji.  

Then transfer to Jeju International Airport and fly to Busan (Gimhae Airport). Upon arrival, meet our tour guide and then drive to Busan downtown, the second largest city in Korea, surrounded by mountains and the East Sea. You will explore Jagalchi Fish Market, the largest Korea's seafood market which was formed after Korean war (1950~1953) as a fish market where you can see the lifestyle of the indigenous Busan natives then move to Yongdusan Park nearby harmonizing well with Busan Tower and 70 different kinds of trees, considered a favorite resting place among the citizens. Later then drive to Ulsan City, well-known for Hyundai shipyard, one of the largest shipyard in the world and Hyundai Motor Co. Check in at Hyundai Hotel in Ulsan.

Day 5 (Sunday) Gyeongju - Gayasan (B/L)

Check out of your hotel and move to take a stroll through Songlim (pine tree) Park nearby to Daewangam Rock in the east seashore where Queen Munmu of Shilla Dynasty (BC57~AD935) died to be a dragon in defense of her motherland from Japanese invasion. Move to Gyeongju, a museum without walls. In 57BC, around when Julius Caesar was subduing Gaul, it became the capital of the Shilla Dynasty and remained so for about 1000 years. Gyeongju preserves a vast amount of significant and fascinating historical heritage.

Along with Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto, its historical district has been designated as a World Heritage by UNESCO. Gyeongju National Museum, & Cheomgseongdae Astronomical Observatory, Seokguram Grotto (UNESCO world heritage) - an artificial stone temple made of granites, located on the eastern peak of Mt. Toham. Inside the round-shaped main hall, there are the Bonjon Statue, Bodhi-Sattava and his disciples. It was built to preserve these statues. Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO world heritage) – The beauty of the temple itself and artistic touch of the stone relics are as awesome and fascinating as to be highly praised by visitors from all over the world. Then move to Gayasan National Park. Check in at hotel and take a rest.

Day 6 (Monday) Gayasan - Andong - Sokcho (B/L)

After Check-out, move to Haeinsa Temple located in Gayasan National Park. Haeinsa Temple was founded by King Ae-Jang of Shilla Dynasty (802), well known for its famous treasure “Tripitaka Koreana” (UNESCO world heritage) composed of 81,341 printing woodblocks made torepulse the Mongolian Army Invasion with support of Buddha.

And then transfer to Andong Hahoe Village which has preserved the housing architecture and the village structure of the Joseon Dynasty. Moreover, the Village was not artificially created; there are people who actually live there. The Hahoe Village has become world-famous for the visit of The Queen Elizabeth II of Britain several years ago. And then transfer to Sokcho, a port of fishing boats and commercial ships. Check in at hotel located close to Sokcho seashore.

Day 7 (Tuesday) Mt. Seoraksan National Park - Seoul (B/L)

Move to Seoraksan National Park of which the peaks break through the clouds while jade-like water flows through the valleys, creating breathtaking views and making this Korea’s most famous national park. UNESCO designated this park a Biosphere Preservation District in 1982 due to so many rare species found here. Visit Sinheungsa located in Mt.Seorak which is an ancient temple with deep historical significance, built by a great monk Jajangyulsa (590~658). (Optional Tour: Gwongeumseong Cable Car USD15.00). After sightseeing of Seoraksan National Park, move to Seoul. Gwongeumseong is a site of castle ruins located on the steep DolMountain of Seoraksan National Park area. Check in at hotel and take a rest.

Day 8 (Wednesday) Seoul (B/L)

Pass-by Cheongwadae (Presidential residence), Jongmyo Royal Shrine (UNESCO world heritage) – the worship place for the kings of the Joseon Dynasty well known for its tradition and customs such as the well preserved memorial services and traditional music which dates back to 600 years ago. Then proceed to Changdeokgung Palace (UNESCO world heritage) – The Palace served as the main building after 9th king Seojong of Joseon, when a number of kings used this palace as a place of dwelling and working. It is comprised of a public palace area, a royal family residence building, and the rear garden which has been kept as natural as possible and where human hands were only usedwhen absolutely necessary.

Later move to Hwaseong Fortress (UNESCO world heritage) located in Suwon City, Gyeonggi-do province, one and a half hour drive south of Seoul. Hwangseong Fortress was started and completed by King Jeongjo of Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910) in September of 1796. An interesting point to note about the Fortress is that it was planned and built using the ideas of practical science. Both stones and bricks were used, while heavy materials were lifted by using a system of pulleys to reduce building time, and the scientific structures made it possible to attack and defend effectively.  It was a pioneering achievement for that era in terms of cutting down the estimated building time of 10 years to an impressive 33 months. Back to hotel and take a rest.
Evening Optional Tour: Traditional performance (US$35) or NANTA Perfomance (US$50) - a non verbal performance integrating Korean Traditional "Samulnoli" rhythm with comic drama.

Day 9 (Thursday) Seoul - Incheon - Sydney (B)

Individual check-out on arrangement at around 09:00. Move to Seosomun KAL building (5 minutes walking distance) & transfer to Incheon International Airport by KAK Limousine Express Bus at your own expense for KE121 departing in the evening or you could extend your stay upon request before your departure from Australia.


Day 10 (Friday) Sydney

Arrive Sydney approximate 09:00 on KE121.
